Management
Dietmar Pruessmann, Owner - Dietmar has over 40 years of experience in every area of machining. He studied engineering in Germany before establishing his successful business in New Mexico. Dietmar has extensive knowledge relating to Particle Accelerators and has contributed to many engineering and production methods including a method to Weld Glidcop, which was thought to be impossible at one time.  DFP1144@Qwest.net dietmar.jpg (8744 bytes)
Bill Fennell, Company Manager - Bill has over 35 years in most every type of machining. His experience with refining production methods is what gives CMI the edge in efficient production. Bill has many commondations from the National Labs and is an integral part of CMI's successful track record. In addition to managing the Staff at CMI, Bill conducts the majority of our QA/QC which explains the high level of quality that is paradigm at CMI. bill.jpg (8483 bytes)
Machinists and Support Staff

Richard Navarro - Rich is the "do anything" CNC machinist at CMI. His software skills make him the shop leader in machine programming. He is a 3rd generation machinist with talent that would make him one of the top machinist at any shop. Rich is the resident expert in CAD/CAM and conducts the majority of our (all except his own) QA/QC in our CMM department.

Andres Portillo - Andres came to Coronado Machine in early 2001 from Lockheed Martin. He brought with him the quality and skill associated with the aircraft industry as well as a myriad of other skills. Andres is the local expert in Surface Grinding. His ability to produce renderings with .0002 precision and surface grind to a #8 finish allow him to handle entire projects by himself.  Without the aid of computers he produces finshed work that rivals any CNC output Andres.jpg (5323 bytes)
Eddie Roybal- Eddie came to Coronado in 1997 bringing with him 10 years of experience from the Aircraft industry. He worked as contract Machinist for companies like Boeing and Hughes. His skillset is extensive including CNC Milling and CNC Lathe. His other skills are Wire EDM, BMC's, screw machines, and CAD/CAM. He is another Coronado Machinist who can independently design and complete prototype projects.  eddie.jpg (5309 bytes)
Mario Fong - Mario has worked the majority of his 6 years at Coronado Machine. He came from his first job as a general machinist and quickly learned to be a top level CNC machinist. In addition to being capable of any CNC Milling project, he also produces outstanding work on a CNC or manual Lathe. He is a another Coronado Machinist who has mastered MasterCAM and also makes tools and fixtures for many projects. John Riley - John has worked his entire 11 year Career at Coronado Machine. In that time he has mastered every machine in the shop and is qualified for Mill and Lathe assignments. He is well known at the national labs for his high precision (.0002) work on very large parts. John is a master with MasterCAM and works with other CAD/CAM packages extending the capabilities of the Shop. john.jpg (5470 bytes)
Gary Gonzales - Gary has 18 years of experience with both Mills and Lathes. Gary specializes in  large parts as he runs the two largest Cincinatti mills in the shop.  Gary's experience in Tool and Die making allow him to machine parts to the highest levels. gary.jpg (11551 bytes)
Phi Truong - Phi is a former Student of TVI, a local college in Albuquerque, where he studied courses in machining and related technology. His 4 years of experience at Coronado was enough to established himself as a trusted CNC Machinist in both Lathe and Mill. He is also practiced at MasterCAM. Phi.jpg (4679 bytes)
Chau Truong - Chau has worked for 9 months in maintaining the facility to top notch standards. His efforts in keeping the shop and the machines in perfectly clean condition keep errors and maintenance problems to a minimum.
