Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing

Some people say computer aided "development" or other terms. they are all the same. CAD typically refers to some sort of drawing program or package to create blueprints for a certain project. CAM is an often itegrated feature to provide help in manufacturing such as cutter paths for the specific mill you are using. In machine shops, a popular CAD/CAM package is AutoCAD. The only problem with AutoCAD is that it is not specifically for machine shops like BRAVO7 or MasterCAM. We work with all CAD/CAM systems that our customers use, which is nearly every one. When our development environment is up to us, we use MasterCAM or Bravo7. These products are focused on the Machine shop and are particularly good for prototype work which is our core business

CAD/CAM is our backbone as it is with any modern machine shop. Coupled with our integrated CMM we have the ability to reproduce almost anything using almost sany material. Give us a Challenge and we will meet it.
